After canceling a tour to distance herself from the fallout of her much-maligned “SNL” performance last month, pop chanteuse Lana Del Rey found a receptive audience at London fashion week over the weekend. The singer — whose album dropped from No. 2 to 13 in its second week of release — performed Sunday at the sophisticated Savile Club in Mayfair for an after-party thrown by fashion line Mulberry. Del Rey tackled a set of four songs for 80 VIP guests, including Michelle Williams, Pixie Geldof, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Hiddleston, “Downton Abbey” star Michelle Dockery and Hamish Bowles. But this time, the crowd was supportive. “People cheered for her after each song,” said a spy at the dinner. Del Rey rocked a classy vintage look at the exclusive bash, and performed on a stage next to a cluster of shiny gold balloons shaped like handbags. Mulberry is launching a bag inspired by the songstress, dubbed the Del Rey. A number of guests at the Mulberry party then headed to a late-night birthday fete for W magazine’s Edward Enninful.
