Andy Cohen waging war with Oprah

Andy Cohen is either angling for a war or a job with Oprah Winfrey.

The Bravo television executive, who became a talk show host himself with “Watch What Happens Live,” gave Oprah some harsh advice yesterday during an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show.”

“Here’s the first thing that I would do, and it’s the first thing I would have done two years ago: put on re-reruns of the freaking ‘Oprah Winfrey Show,'” Cohen said

The Bravo honcho lambasted the network for not having thought of this sooner.

“They are sitting on a 25-year archive of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show,'” said Cohen. “You have all this time to fill? Guess what I want to watch? The greatest talk show in the history of talk shows. ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show.'”

Cohen furthered that Oprah has made a misstep with one of her two personal offerings on the network, “Oprah’s Next Chapter” and “Oprah’s Lifeclass.”

“I don’t want to watch a show that has class in the title,” said Cohen. “I don’t want to go to school. … I just want to see the old ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show.'”

When Stern asked specifically if he would ever consider decamping from Bravo if OWN offered him a position, he said no.

“I’m like a pig in [bleep] right now,” he said.
