Closely guarded Tatum at ‘White House Down’ premiere

Channing Tatum had more security at the “White House Down” premiere than a real president might expect. The handsome hunk was surrounded by five guards at the film’s Frick Collection party who kept swarming fans a full 5 feet away from the actor. Even some who weren’t trying to get to Tatum were told to step back if they happened into his path, our spy reports. But Tatum smiled and posed for pics with fans willing to wait their turn. Jamie Foxx arrived earlier to the Ziegfeld Theatre in a faux-bullet-riddled limo with actors posing as police in prop cars, and was greeted by fans in Tatum T-shirts. “I made every single one of the [shirts],” Tatum joked to reporters. The new dad also quipped, “I’ve never protected the president, but I have been a new dad, and I can tell you . . . it’s pretty terrifying.” Guests at the Cinema Society and Columbia Pictures’ Bulova-sponsored bash included upcoming Gotham magazine cover girl Maggie Gyllenhaal
, her brother Jake, Ang Lee and Gabourey Sidibe.
