T.J. Jackson: the loss of MJ hit Paris at a ‘different level’

Michael Jackson’s nephew and co-guardian to his three children gave emotional testimony in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the late King of Pop’s family yesterday, according to reports.

T.J. echoed Prince Jackson’s Wednesday testimony that The Gloved One’s death hit the singer’s 15-year-old daughter, Paris, hardest. The teenager was hospitalized following a suicide bid earlier this month.

“The loss of my uncle has hit her at a different level,” T.J. said. “She was daddy’s girl; my uncle was her world….it has been very challenging for the girl”

He called Jackson’s only daughter the “princess of [Michael’s] life,” and “She is in a tough spot, but we are loving her and helping her, getting her where she should be.”

T.J. also reportedly said that the constant paparazzi attention has only made the loss more difficult for the family.

“In my opinion, I know it’s making everything harder for the kids to grieve and recover and progress,” T.J. said of the paparazzi.

Also in his testimony, the 34-year-old son of Jackson 5 member Tito Jackson, insisted that his global superstar uncle was a humble and loving family man.

“He was just extremely humble about being so famous,” T.J said. “It was amazing to see the contrast of (how) the world outside (treated him).”

He recalled how Jackson supported and comforted him after his mother was murdered when he was 16.

“He kept me inspired and ambitious. He was just there for me,” T.J. said, breaking down in tears.

Jackson’s 83-year-old mother, Katherine, is suing AEG Live for negligence in hiring Dr. Conrad Murray as his personal physician.

Testimony over the past two days has focused on Jackson’s relationship with his children, with the family’s attorneys showing home videos and photos of the pop star with his kids.
