Nigella Lawson is packing up her troubles and making a swift exit from her marital home less than two weeks after her husband Charles Saatchi grabbed her by the throat.

The Sun published photos of moving men carrying the TV chef’s belongings from the London home she shared with the 70-year-old ad mogul, suggesting that their marriage is over.

Lawson, 53, who has been seen without her wedding ring, has been staying with her sister in a Mayfair flat since pictures emerged showing Saatchi’s hand around her neck during a row at Scott’s restaurant.

Saatchi has accepted a police caution for assault, but in an increasingly bizarre explanation for his behavior said he was helping his wife pick “snot” out of her nose.

Saatchi insisted: “Even domestic goddesses sometimes have a bit of snot in their nose. I was trying to fish it out.”

He previously claimed the 27-minute row, in which he reportedly grabbed her throat four times in public and made Lawson cry, was just a “playful tiff.”

Lawson could bolt to Los Angeles where she’ll be filming the second season of ABC’s cooking show “The Taste.”

“They are not speaking and she wants to get out of the media glare. Her profile isn’t particularly high over in Los Angeles and she can easily blend in there,” a friend told the UK publication.

Dubbed a cooking version of “The Voice,” Lawson is one of the judges/mentors on “The Taste” along with fellow celebrity chefs Anthony Bourdain, Ludo Lefebrvre, and Brian Malarkey.
