Some staffers at WNBC Channel 4 were confused by the costume general manager Michael Jack wore to the station’s annual Halloween party.
“He came dressed as Rick James, but some people didn’t recognize him as Rick James and thought he was a pimp,” an insider said.
“Some women in the office were upset,” added our source of the outfit. “They thought it was in really poor taste.”
A more successful example of Halloween dress-up was found at Tao Downtown — where Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig drew raves by arriving as “Dynasty” divas Krystle Carrington (or Linda Evans) and Alexis Colby (played in the classic soap by Joan Collins) at the Old Hallow’s Eve bash they co-hosted Wednesday night.
Other guests included Nicky Hilton, Jessica Stam, Amanda Hearst, Edward Chapman and Nur Khan.
