Although Jennifer Garner rose to prominence playing a kick-ass action hero, I’ve always felt that she was more suited to deadly driven, slightly off-center characters. A type she played brilliantly in “Juno” and gets another chance to tackle in “Butter.”
The script, a dryly comic tale about the world of competitive butter carving, ignited a bidding war back in 2008, eventually attracting Hugh Jackman, Olivia Wilde, Alicia Silverstone, Ty Burrell, Rob Corddry, Kristen Schaal and Ashley Greene to play — and sculpt — alongside Jennifer.
Entertainment Tonight got a behind-the-scenes look at the film (due out in 2011) and if we’re judging it solely based on J. Garn’s tightly-wound clothing choices, it looks like we might have another Tracy Flick on our hands!
