Kelly Clarkson is rightfully crowned the ‘best voice in the history of pop music’

My feelings about Kelly Clarkson are well covered here on PopWrap. To recap: she can do no wrong and can look however she wants to as long as she keeps busting the roof off arenas everywhere. And now I’m happy to report some major players are jumping on my bedazzled (yeah, I’m fancy) bandwagon.

In their new issue, Esquire magazine says that Kelly has “the best voice in the history of pop music.” Yes, I know, cue the, “What about … Madonna, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Dolly Parton, Fiona Apple, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Tina Turner, Chrissie Hind, Joan Jett, Cher, Janis Joplin and Billie Holiday” exclamations.

But truthfully, I couldn’t agree more with their assertion and offer up the following video as proof. Disagree? Suck it! I mean, sound off in the comments then!

Also warranting worship: “Sober,” “Already Gone,” “Because of You,” and “Behind These Hazel Eyes

Do you think the honor is warranted?
