At 4:01pm history was made as East Coast TV’s went to black following the final episode of “Oprah” to ever air (in this incarnation). And whether you felt it was a beautifully poignant send-off, or a total let down given the star-studded penultimate episode, you can’t deny that it perfectly and subtly encapsulated everything Oprah has come to represent over the last 25 years.
Personally I won’t feel like the show has truly come to a close until the “Season 25: Behind the Scenes” airs on OWN where we’ll find out what happened in the control room during this legendary finale!
