Future royal Kate Middleton joined her fiance Thursday afternoon for a pre-Christmas lunch with the Queen, People magazine reported.
The couple rode in a car behind Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall to Buckingham Palace, where they ate with several dozen members of the royal family before leaving about two and a half hours later.
It is believed that this is the first time Middleton lunched with the whole family at the Palace.
“When she left, Kate was looking supremely happy. She was smiling broadly,” an observer told People.
