Only Sundance could get snow board company Burton thrown out of a ski-resort property. Burton had rented a five-bedroom home on Empire Avenue in Park City, Utah, to host a VIP lounge. But the owners weren’t happy that a party was planned for Saturday night. A source said, “Word got around. The owners stopped the party right before it started and kicked everyone out.” The Bur ton staff had already loaded food, amplifiers and other equipment in and were forced to find other rooms for the rest of the fest. But Burton contin ued its learn-to-ride events, with Penn Badgley stopping in. A Burton rep had no com ment.
