Strauss, author of pick-up manual “The Game,” says he called on his persuasion techniques to get stars to open up for his book, “Everyone Loves You When You’re Dead.” He said, “When I interviewed Christina Aguilera, she talked for the first time about surviving domestic abuse . . . I think musicians see me as some sort of confessional.”
