The latest addition to “The Real Housewives of New York City” is a tall, blond fashion model who is friends with Brandi Glanville, the disruptively plain-spoken star of the Beverly Hills version of the Bravo show.
Kristen Taekman, a native of Farmington, Conn., went with Glanville to the Bravo “upfront” promotion earlier this year and started chatting with producer Andy Cohen, who immediately asked, “Why aren’t you on ‘Real Housewives’?”
Filming has wrapped on Kristen’s first season of the show, which is expected to start airing in March.
The mother-of-two and her husband, Josh Taekman, the co-founder of the Eboost natural energy drinks, were among the guests at a dinner Tuesday night hosted by Bob Colacello and Daniel Benedict at the Bleecker Street Arts Club.
The Franklyn Project collective created a series of images of Andy Warhol and titled the show, “Portraits of Our Father.”
Other guests included Brooke Shields, Factory survivor Brigid Berlin, actress Kelly Rutherford, Valesca Guerrand-Hermès and artist Donald Baechler.
