Studio 54 co-founder Ian Schrager is resurrecting his legendary disco for his daughter Ava’s 15th birthday. (We assume the original’s topless bartenders and various extracurricular activities will be omitted for this version.) The Studio 54-themed quinceanera will go down at Capitale in SoHo Saturday, designed by party planner Bronson Van Wyck. We hear Van Wyck’s bringing in 2,000 pounds of glitter to cover the floor of the club, which will also have accoutrements from the original West 54th Street space being brought out of storage. DJ Chelsea Leyland will spin for the evening, although we hear her set list will include more Justin Bieber than Donna Summer.
