Chris Brown has officially said good-bye to Karrueche Tran after she grew tired of his cavorting with his ex Rihanna.
“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna,” Brown said in a statement. “I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
“Both r Free from it all!” Brown posted on Twitter last night apparently referencing his split from Tran. “Bye baby,” Tran tweeted two hours after Brown’s tweet.
Brown officially cut ties with Tran after being spotted clubbing, canoodling and kissing RiRi in New York this week. On Monday night, RiRi and Brown were spotted making out at Griffin nightclub in the Meatpacking District and at one point locking themselves in the bathroom together. The next night, they were spotted partying at 1Oak together and leaving in the same SUV.
Last night, the pair attended the Jay-Z concert together at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, sitting together behind Jay’s wife Beyonce and Roc Nation artist Rita Ora. “Chris had his arm around Ri for the majority of the concert,” said a source.
Tran, an aspiring model, indicated her frustration with Brown’s relationship with Rihanna, posting earlier in the week on Twitter: “there’s a difference between a man and a boy.” “I prefer men.”
