Kim Kardashian might have slummed it with normal people when she gave birth last week because the star was reportedly denied her deluxe suite at Cedars Sinai.

According to TMZ, Kardashian had allegedly booked a fancy suite for her delivery but since she gave birth five weeks early, all of the rooms were in use, so she was put in a different unit at the hospital, sources explained.

Reportedly, one of the VIP occupants was NBA star Dwight Howard, whose girlfriend Christine Vest was giving birth at the same time.

The “Deluxe Maternity Suites” at the LA hospital run from $2,847 to $4,030 per day and they all include an in-room refrigerator stocked with chilled juices and bottled water, three meals per day for both parents, a flat screen television, a hotel-style robe, and for an added fee salon services such as a haircut and mani-pedis are available.

Meanwhile, Kardashian’s boyfriend Kanye West was reportedly roaming the hospital hallways and ran into Howard. The two apparently got along so well that the rapper gave the Lakers star a preview of his new album, “Yeezus.”

As for the latest update on Kardashian, she and the baby are reportedly out of the hospital and relaxing at a private location.

According to published reports yesterday, Kardashian delivered her first child, weeks early, because doctors feared she suffered from a potentially dangerous condition, best cured by inducing premature labor.

She had experienced severe swelling in the days before her baby was born on Friday and doctors feared Kim had the complication preeclampsia, family sources told People magazine.
