Photographer Annie Leibovitz unveiled a special series of Hudson Valley-set images at the Scenic Hudson Gala on Saturday. The country fete was hosted by hotelier André Balazs at his riverside estate Locusts-on-Hudson, in Staatsburg, NY. The Standard Hotel whiz was also honored at the gala marking Scenic Hudson’s 50th anniversary, and guests including his gal pal Chelsea Handler, Whitney Cummings and Peter Berg chowed down at a seated dinner by Chez Panisse alum Mona Talbott, and an after-party followed in the property’s historic barns, spies said. For the project, Leibovitz visited Hudson Valley mainstays such as Ronnybrook Farm Dairy.
