Drake was shut down by security after he tried to gain entry into the Heat’s locker room after their victory over the Spurs in Game 7 of the NBA Finals last night.
In footage caught by WPTV, Drake and a crew saunter up to the door before a guard stops the Grammy winner and warns, “This is media, pure media.”
A dejected Drake then tried his best to talk his way in, replying, “I am media.”
The Canadian rapper is close friends with LeBron James and he did get to celebrate with the Finals MVP and Dwyane Wade by eating pizza on stage at South Beach hot spot Story.
“What we have is real family,” James said in a Yahoo! Sports report. “It’s not just because we are successful at what we do. We really care about one another on a day-to-day basis.”
