Suri Cruise has found a school to attend in the fall.
Katie Holmes has enrolled her 6-year-old in Avenues, a nearly $40,000-a-year private school opening this fall in Manhattan, Life & Style magazine reported today on its website.
“Katie has eagerly been telling Suri all about the lunchrooms, basketball courts and different activities Avenues offers. Suri’s really excited about it,” a source told the mag.
At the 215,000-square-foot school, Suri will learn Spanish or Mandarin, along with the basics: reading, writing, math, science and music.
The school overlooks the High Line and is just blocks from Holmes’ Chelsea apartment.
Avenues calls itself a “world school” and will have branches in China, India, Africa and Europe.
The move comes after Holmes and actor Tom Cruise announced earlier this summer that they had divorced.
