While Lance Armstrong’s long-overdue confession of doping to Oprah Winfrey appears to have done nothing to rehabilitate his image, former MLB outfielder José Canseco is taking a different approach — doling out anti-steroid advice to newlyweds. Canseco, who admitted using steroids in a 2005 book, “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ’Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big,” has been warning fellow players against using drugs. Canseco was spotted at a recent wedding party at Chelsea’s 1Oak, telling the groom, a minor-league player, to steer clear of steroids. A spy said, “José congratulated the newlywed couple and said as his advice: ‘Dude, don’t do ’roids. They’ll [bleep] you up.’ ”
