Michael Pitt is keeping busy after his “Boardwalk Empire” character was killed off. “There are things I miss and things that I don’t. I’m happy to make films,” he said at the launch of a new screenplay competition called “Four Stories” from W Hotels and Intel. Pitt said he co-wrote, produced and stars in “You Can’t Win,” based on a 1926 book by adventurer Jack Black. “Basically I’m a workhorse. I just like making things difficult for myself and taking on as much work as I can,” he said of the assignment.
