Was Lena Dunham inspired by Jane Pratt for a character in “Girls”? In last night’s episode, Dunham’s character interviews “Jame,” editor of the Web site JazzHate. When Dunham asks what she should write about, Jame suggests, “You could have a threesome with some people that you meet on Craigslist, or do a whole bunch of coke and then just write about it!” Pratt’s Web site, xoJane.com, is full of stories about drug and sex experimentation (a recent story: “10 Tips for the Aspiring Female Dominatrix”). “Girls” producers denied it was a parody of Pratt. But,“It’s not that far from how we work,” Pratt told us. “I’ve never told anyone on staff to snort cocaine. I encouraged Cat Marnell to snort actual bath salts.”
