Bradley Cooper’s planned run on Broadway as “The Elephant Man” may have to wait now that he’s signed to team up with Steven Spielberg for “American Sniper.” Yesterday, it was announced that “Silver Linings Playbook” star Cooper will star as the late Navy SEAL Chris Kyle in the movie, based on Kyle’s memoir. Kyle was known as the most accurate sniper in American military history, but his life ended tragically when he and a friend were shot at a firing range in Texas by a military associate suffering from PTSD. Sources tell us the move means the “Elephant Man” project “could be delayed for a year, even though Bradley feels strongly about it.”
