Heidi’s Halloween, post-Sandy

A Masked Amar’e Stoudemire and fiancée Alexis Welch came as ‘Beauty and the Beast’ to Heidi Klum’s Haunted Holiday party at Bowery hot spot Finale on Saturday, delayed from Halloween by Hurricane Sandy. Stoudemire’s Range Rover was destroyed by the storm as his West Village parking lot was flooded. He said, he lost “one of my favorite cars. We were out of our apartment for 2 1/2 weeks, but now we’re back in. It was pretty bad in our building. We still have 78 cars in our garage that need to be towed out. It’s bad down there.” Recovering from knee surgery, Stoudemire was targeting the Dec. 25 showdown against the Los Angeles Lakers for his return to the Knicks. When asked about holiday plans he confirmed it, saying: “We have a game Christmas Day, so that’s pretty much it. Hopefully after a win, we’ll celebrate.” Meanwhile Klum (right, with Santa) shimmered as Cleopatra with a golden outfit, giant headdress and her face covered in Swarovski crystals. She told us of delaying her bash, “Sandy hit and I was like, ‘I can’t do a Halloween party. We can’t have fun when so many people’s lives have been destroyed.” The model was yesterday delivering aid to storm-ravaged areas on Long Island along with AOL, which helped her collect supplies. Other guests at the Svedka party to raise funds for the Red Cross included Katie Couric, who wore a box of eggs on her head, Russell Simmons and Jay Manuel, who wore a devilish red furry outfit and ice blue contacts. Mickey Rourke, surrounded by models, was spotted rolling into the packed club later as the costume-wearing partygoers mingled with hoards of models.
