Rachel Uchitel hires Katie Holmes, Bethenny Frankel divorce lawyers

Tiger Woods’ former mistress Rachel Uchitel has hired the same divorce lawyers as Katie Holmes and Bethenny Frankel – Pam Sloan and Peter Stambleck of Aronson Mayefsky and Sloan.

Uchitel and her husband Matt Hahn are divorcing after a year and a half of marriage. Hahn filed for divorce from the “Celebrity Rehab” cast member, citing “cruel and inhumane treatment” as his grounds for the split.

Uchitel was at her lawyers’ Upper East Side office yesterday afternoon. The legal team is known for the quickie divorce negotiations done for Holmes and Frankel.

Holmes famously blindsided Tom Cruise with her divorce filing in late July. Her divorce attorney, Jonathan Wolfe, helped her secure a quick settlement less than two weeks after filing — a reported $4.8 million over the next 12 years.

Page Six exclusively reported that Frankel boldly cornered Holmes at a holiday bash in December, demanding after downing a few drinks, “Give me the name of your divorce lawyer.” The Skinny Girl mogul and her ex-husband Jason Hoppy finalized their divorce in April after four months of legal wrangling.

News broke this week that Uchitel and Hahn were calling it quits. The two had “many explosive, verbal arguments,” TMZ reported. Sources said that the 38-year-old nightclub promoter would allegedly slap her husband after he allegedly called her names.

Uchitel’s rep, Howard Bragman, told TMZ, “It is Ms. Uchitel’s goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media.”

Uchitel and Hahn, a former Penn State football star, wed in 2011. Last May, the two welcomed their daughter, Wyatt Lilly.

Hahn’s attorney, Douglas Kepanis LL.M., released a statement to Page Six confirming that his client filed for divorce from his wife in the state of New York.

“A divorce, for anyone, is a highly emotional pursuit and requires considered judgment,” wrote Kepanis. “All attorneys involved are dedicated to bringing this matter to a fair and equitable resolution.”

He continued, “Mr. Hahn loves his daughter Wyatt and only wishes the best for her. Every effort will be made to achieve those goals without protracted litigation.”
