Amanda Bynes is adamantly denying a story on “The View” that she was seen eating soup and acting peculiarly in an Upper West Side restaurant.
On yesterday’s broadcast of the show, a supervising producer named “Dusty” recalled seeing the oddball 27-year-old star at a takeout soup and salad spot.
“I noticed a woman in her early-mid twenties…in a crazy blonde wig, dark glasses and I immediately knew it was Amanda Bynes,” she recalled to the delight of “The View” hosts and studio audience.
The staffer then showed two photos of the diner, wolfing down “split pea soup” and described the woman as “mumbling to herself” — describing her behavior as “peculiar.”
After the meal, Dusty said that Bynes allegedly “stood outside, she put herself against the glass and stared at the people who were eating in the window.”
Bynes, however, took to Twitter to deny the sighting. She posted: “that is not me eating soup! there is someone posing as me who looks nothing like me! ew!” adding, “when my hair grows out will everyone stop putting up fake videos of random girls in wigs posing as me? thanks!”
She finally declared, “my lawyer will have every fake story about me removed from the internet”
Just two days ago, the retired 27-year-old actress sported a platinum blonde wig for her trip to the dog store in Chelsea.
