One of music’s most influential figures has no problem with Miley Cyrus’ twerking.

“Come on, we’ve seen worse than that!” Paul McCartney said in an interview with Sky News. The rocker is currently in the middle of a press tour for his latest album, “New.”

The 71-year-old former Beatle said he has no problem letting his youngest daugther,10-year-old Beatrice Milly, watch the pop star do her go-to dance move.

“I watched it as an experiment to check, but you look at it and you say, ‘what’s everyone shouting about?’ he said. “I think it was only mildly shocking…it wasn’t explicit at all.”

While McCartney may be fine with Cyrus, the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s feud with Sinéad O’Connor show’s no signs of letting up. The Irish singer-songwriter posted yet another open letter to Cyrus on her website, this one seeking a public apology.

“New” was released in the U.K. on Monday, and is set to go on sale in America on Tuesday.
