‘Borgias’ star John Doman sues agent over nearly half-mill in wages

Call it “The Case of the Missing Half-a-Million.” John Doman, a Vietnam vet who started acting at 46, is suing his agent Peter Strain in LA court for the bulk of $600,000 he was paid to play Rodrigo Borgia in 12 episodes of Showtime’s “The Borgias,” which stars Jeremy Irons as Pope Alexander VI. Doman claims Strain has refused to pay him $440,000 he’s owed. “Doman and his lawyers have asked repeatedly for the money,” said a friend of Doman. Strain didn’t return calls.
