After we reported disgraced designer John Galliano’s “comeback” has led him to a teaching gig at Parsons The New School for Design, the school sent an e-mail to students over the weekend announcing a three-day workshop taught by Galliano called “Show Me Emotion.” The course will be available to seniors in Parsons’ BFA program, and includes a final critique by Galliano and Dean of Fashion Simon Collins. “We believe that over the past two years Galliano has demonstrated a serious intent to make amends for his past actions, and as part of this workshop . . . students will have the opportunity to engage in a frank conversation with [him] about the challenges and complications of leading a design house,” the school said.
