Anchors in hysterics after Ryan Lochte’s awkward interview

A pair of morning news anchors nearly fell out of their chairs after an interview with Ryan Lochte.

The Olympic champ stopped by “Good Day Philadelphia” to promote his new reality show, “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?” but the swimmer’s inability to answer simple questions left Sheinelle Jones and her co-anchor Mike Jerrick buckling over with laughter.

The interview started with the poolside party boy telling viewers, “There’s so much more to me than swimming. I like to go and have fun, like to go dancing, hang out with my friends…”

But things soon turned complicated. When asked what pickup line would get his attention, Lochte’s response was six seconds of pure silence that seemed to last a lifetime on live TV.

He also told a gem of a story about adjusting to cameras filming him 24/7: “The first couple days, it was a little weird. I mean, I was brushing my teeth and the camera was there. I was like, ‘What are you guys doing?’ So the cameras were allowed in the bathroom? I mean I guess there’s like a (pause) mirror with a sink, and you have the bathroom.”

After Lochte signed off, the anchors could no longer hold it together and burst out laughing.

“Seriously, how are they gonna get enough material [for an entire season]?” Jerrick asked.

Jones was brought to tears and could barely speak – she finally managed to spit out, “He is good-looking.”
