Scottish actor Alan Cumming was the belle of the White House holiday party on Friday night. Cumming outshone all the other guests at the bash hosted by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle by wearing a kilt. One guest told us, “In a room full of gray suits, Alan had on a greenish kilt and a black ‘wife- beater’ style shirt — at the White House. The wives and partners of the Democratic donors there were lining up to have their picture taken with him.” The guest wasn’t bold enough to ask if Cumming was following Scottish tradition by not wearing anything else under his kilt.
