New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was at a glamorous Washington, DC, gala with Sandra Lee last night.
The pair attended the Kennedy Center dinner that honored Billy Joel, a close friend of Cuomo, who last week serenaded the Gov at his birthday party.
Joining Cuomo, who usually insists on staying to focus on work in New York rather than in DC, on a rare night of state, were Les Moonves, Valerie Jarrett and Ahmad Rashad, among others.
In a move that could get some political watchers talking, sources tell us that following a private fund-raiser, Cuomo plans to attend the Democratic Governors Association event Monday in DC, the first time he has ever attended the gathering.
