Zappos has zinged Kanye West over his claim the company sells “all this sh-t product to everybody”.
West lost it on Zappos CEO Tony Hseih on novelist Bret Easton Ellis’ podcast on Monday, saying, “I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this sh-t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling sh-t product.”
Zappos, an online retailer of shoes and clothing, responded by launching a new item on its website titled “Sh-t Product”, a $100,000 toilet plunger complete with photos and directions how to use it.
The item is also listed as, “The perfect gift for the man who has everything,” and “This is the throne, everyone has been watching. Whether you’re #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris,” a clear dig at West.
