Clint Eastwood’s marriage moved closer to a conclusion as the Hollywood legend’s wife of 17 years filed for legal separation.

Dina Eastwood’s attorney filed the petition on Monday in Monterey County Superior Court, reports The Montery County Herald. She’s also seeking physical custody of the couple’s daughter, Morgan, 16, and spousal support.

Clint, 83, and Dina, 48, were married in 1996.

News of the couple’s separation surfaced late last month and was confirmed by Dina, who said that the couple had been living apart “for some time.” Both seemed to have already moved on, with Clint dating the former wife of Dina’s current boyfriend.

Tension between the couple grew after Dina starred in “Mrs. Eastwood & Co.” alongside Morgan and Francesca Eastwood, 20, another of Clint’s daughters from a previous relationship, last year. The “Million Dollar Baby” director reportedly wanted nothing to do with the reality series.
