Christie Brinkley wasn’t deterred from partying after a dog tossed its cookies at the 2013 Pet Hero Awards on Saturday. Spies said the supermodel simply did a costume change after the messy event and headed to a Hamptons screening of the Steve Carell movie “The Way, Way Back.” “Christie was running late due to a quick trip home to change after a dog threw up on her at a previous event,” explained a spy at the Goose Creek screening when one of its hosts was seemingly missing. “She did make it in the nick of time for the movie’s introduction.” Brinkley was earlier being honored at a Pet Philanthropy Circle event in Water Mill when — just as Jill Rappaport introduced her — the rescue pup Brinkley was holding lost its lunch on the blond beauty. Brinkley later joked on Facebook she’d nicknamed the poor pooch Hurl. The “Way Back” screening was co-hosted by Cristina Cuomo, Dylan Lauren, Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss and Jeff and Caryn Zucker. Co-writer Nat Faxon was overheard telling a guest at an after-party sponsored by Samsung Galaxy, Beach magazine and Chopard that he and writing partner Jim Rash are next working on a script about the black market for human organs starring Kristen Wiig.
