Actor Sam Claflin broke his finger on the set of the action flick “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” and says it probably won’t ever be the same again.
He told us at the premiere at AMC Lincoln Center on Wednesday night that he “slipped and [actually] punched the stuntman instead of not punching him,” but didn’t realize he’d broken his finger until later.
“It took me an hour and a half to realize I’d done it, because I was so worried about [the stuntman],” Clafin explained. “That was the first time I’d ever hit someone. Hopefully it will never happen again, because I don’t want to break another finger.”
After filming wrapped, Clafin says his finger is “not 100 percent better, and I don’t think it ever will be, which is fine. It’s workable.”
