Artist Roman Kriheli will finally unveil his anticipated “Most Beautiful Woman in the World” portrait at Art Basel in Miami this week. His exhibition will be Tuesday at Avant Gallery, which displayed works by Alec Monopoly, Damien Hirst and Mick Rock last year. Sources tell us a number of deep-pocketed bidders are lining up to see Kriheli’s “Beautiful Woman” portrait. The artist has not revealed the identity of his subject to anyone. While we hear Vladimir Doronin and Roman Abramovich are among interested buyers, a source tells us Kriheli is demanding that whoever purchases the portrait must allow the work to travel for three years to be shown at exhibitions benefiting women’s initiatives.
