Some New Year’s Eve organizers are going above and beyond to entertain their guests.
The buzzed-about Diamond Horseshoe, the old Billy Rose-owned cabaret club, will reopen in the basement of the Paramount Hotel with a lavish party and show, “Queen of the Night,” hosted by Aby Rosen, “Sleep No More” producer Randy Weiner, The Box owner Simon Hammerstein and others. We hear tickets have sold out.
The Sanctuary Hotel near Times Square will use snow machines to create a blizzard at Haven Rooftop’s Ski Chalet, where snow bunnies decked out with faux mink ears will serve shots on skis.
Across town, Lavo will host a masquerade ball, at which “masks will be provided,” according to invites.
