While reports say that Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, might be engaged to Nick Gordon, who Houston took into her home 10 years ago, Gordon denies that the two are in a relationship.
Kristina and Gordon were seen out yesterday in Atlanta, grabbing a pizza. The two held hands and, at one point, Gordon placed his arm around the small of Kristina’s back and appeared to kiss her.
Meanwhile, Kristina sported a large ring on her wedding finger. Earlier in the day, Star had reported that the two were engaged, Gordon proposing to the famous daughter on March 10.
However, Gordon now denies a relationship with Kristina. He explains their public displays of affection to ABC News, saying, “We’re just close — just going through her mom’s passing and grieving together.”
Kristina and Gordon had fueled rumors that they were a couple in a series of cryptic messages on Twitter.
Kristina posted, “I love sleeping with big brudder (: only person that helps my insomnia B!! Hah (:”
Meanwhile, Gordon typed, “Yea we got a little closer and what!!!”
He also appeared to defend a relationship saying, “For the stupid ppl out there, [Whitney Houston] gave birth to 1 child. And she trusted me with EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! She called me her ‘God Son.'”
According to reports, Houston took Gordon in 10 years ago when his mother could no longer care for him and he was considering enlisting in the army to escape. While Houston never adopted Gordon legally, sources say that he and Kristina referred to each other as brother and sister.
TMZ reports that Cissy Houston, Kristina’s grandmother, does not approve of the alleged pairing.
A source tells the site that Houston said, “What they’re doing is incestuous.”
