Lindsay Lohan staying housebound until end of probation: report

Lindsay Lohan plans to stay out of trouble and avoid risking a probation violation by grounding herself until the end of March, according to a new report.

Lohan is currently on probation after pleading no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Los Angeles boutique, in addition to a 2007 DUI case. She is expected to finish her probation sentence by her next court date on March 29

An alleged hit-and-run incident outside a Los Angeles nightclub prompted Lohan’s friends to urge her not to go out at night to ensure that she does not put the end of her probation in jeopardy, according to TMZ.

Sources close to Lohan said she agreed and will only leave her home when necessary until her probation is complete.

A man claimed the 25-year-old actress hit him with her car while driving away from The Sayers Club and fled the scene early Wednesday.

Lohan blasted the claim as a “complete lie.”

The Los Angeles Police Department told FOX News there were no injuries sustained during the nightclub incident and a hit-and-run report had not been filed. The man, who allegedly injured his knee, could still press charges.
