Jared Leto’s already getting Oscar buzz for his transsexual role in the Toronto Film Festival movie “Dallas Buyers Club,” with Matthew McConaughey. But his plan was to reject the role. “I haven’t been in a film in the past five years because I’ve been working on my music,” Leto — with shoulder-length rocker hair, a black suit and dress shirt with at least three buttons unbuttoned — told us at Focus Features’ upscale bash for the film at Cibo Wine Bar. “My plan was to turn the role down, but it didn’t work out.” Also at the premiere was McConaughey with Camila Alves, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman and Universal honcho Ron Meyer.
