Tickle Pamela Anderson’s turkey

To celebrate Thanksgiving, “Baywatch” babe-turned-animal-activist Pamela Anderson says she is going to tickle turkeys rather than eat them. “I go to the Gentle Barn and hang out with turkeys,” the blond bombshell told us Tuesday. “I tickle them under the wings and I sit them on my lap, and I feed them pumpkin pie.” Aside from giving some lucky birds a cuddle, Anderson was at a NYClass gala at the Edison Ballroom to promote a proposal that would replace New York’s horse-drawn carriage rides with the horsepower of classic cars. “They don’t do it in London anymore,” Anderson said of hansom cabs. “They don’t do it in Toronto or Paris, and we’re still doing it in New York. It seems very behind the times.” Anderson was alone at the bash after City Council Speaker Christine Quinn declined her invitation to go as her date, (and is possibly the only person in the city who would have turned Pammie down). Meanwhile, the conversation turned to romantic New York dates that could replace carriage rides. Guest Kathy Najimy chipped in, “I will put the carriage on my back and carry you on your date.” Drag queen Lady Bunny was less ambitious: “I always just use the bushes.”
