After nine years in business, Marquee NYC has closed its doors for a major renovation. Owners Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss have quietly shuttered the Tenth Avenue club and will reopen it in time for New Year’s Eve. They confirmed to Page Six exclusively that they have brought in partners, including their longtime generals Andrew Goldberg, Rich Thomas, Wass Stevens, Jon Schwartz and Tao’s Paul Goldstein, among others — but not DJ Tiesto, as was rumored. The club’s signature feature, a Philip Johnson-designed staircase, has been removed and will be saved until it’s reused for a future project. The group has expanded the Marquee brand to Las Vegas and Sydney.
