It was a match made in hell. The stepdaughter of former Gov. David Paterson knocked her ex-boyfriend out after she flew into a jealous rage over a text message from another woman — and after he turned down her offer of sex, a bombshell lawsuit charges. Brian McGuinness, 32, and Paterson’s tough-as-nails stepdaughter, Ashley Dennis, 24, were riding in a taxi after a dinner date around midnight on Oct. 1, 2011, during which McGuinness got a text from “Dana,” according to papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. The Post’s Jamie Schram reports upon seeing the message, she went berserk and began screaming, “F – – k that Bitch!” and “Why the F – – k is [Dana] texting you,” the papers state. The fight spilled into to McGuinness’ Manhattan apartment. He left to allow Dennis to cool down, and claims he returned to find her naked and crying — and she offered him sex, but he refused. She then allegedly whacked McGuinness over the head with a pot several times. The suit alleges that as he “attempted to exit his apartment, a naked Ms. Dennis held him back . . . [She] blocked the doorway and continued to yell obscenities . . . Defendant hit Plaintiff in the back of his head with a pot several times.” The suit claims, Dennis continued beating him with his shoe and slammed the door on him until he passed out. The couple met on eHarmony and had a relationship for a month. Dennis’ lawyer Paul Shechtman said, “The best thing in Ashley’s life is that this is a former boyfriend. That he chose to bring this lawsuit is astonishing.” McGuinness’ lawyer Matthew Blit said, “My client suffered significant head trauma, he was lucky to survive this barbaric attack with his life.”
