Buzz Aldrin officially divorced, ex-wife gets half of fortune

Buzz Aldrin’s is officially divorced from his wife, Lois Driggs Cannon.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the divorce order was signed three days after Christmas and his ex-wife (his third) gets nearly half his fortune, including 50 percent of a $475,000 bank account and 50 percent of the profits from his businesses, trademarks and stocks.

The retired astronaut has agreed to pay Lois $9,500 a month plus 30 percent of his annual income, estimated at more than $600,000. They have no children.

She also reportedly gets to keep her 1988 Mercedes – with a license plate that says “MOONGAL” – as separate property.

The second man on the moon filed for divorce after 23 years of marriage.

Page Six exclusively revealed in September that Aldrin re-entered the dating atmosphere with a woman 30 years his junior – and his estranged wife has branded the younger woman a “predator.”

Aldrin is dating former Borders event-marketing exec Michelle Sucillon, we’ve learned. Aldrin met Sucillon at a signing for his book “Magnificent Desolation” at an LA Borders in 2009. They began dating more recently and were spotted “making out like teenagers,” to the shock of Acela train passengers.

Driggs Cannon told us at the time, “He’s not [officially] divorced yet. It is kind of scandalous. We’ve had a great life, and I don’t blame Buzz, I blame the girl. She’s a predator, that’s my opinion.

“He filed for divorce in June. The book signing where they met was in 2009, and I was there. She was kind of aggressive. But he didn’t start seeing her then. He’s been seeing her for about a year. There are women out here in Los Angeles that go after men, they go after celebrities. Women should leave married men alone,” Driggs Cannon said.

“He’s 81 and having kind of a mid-life crisis in old age … I still think Buzz is the most wonderful man in the world, and I still love him.”
