While most socials are spending their summers in Ibiza, Capri or the Hamptons, former first daughter Barbara Bush headed to Uganda for charity. Before her trip, Bush — the twin sister of “Today” show contributor Jenna Bush Hager and the CEO of Global Health Corps, which places young leaders with non-profit and government health organizations — appeared last week at a meet-and-greet reception at investment firm Evercore with Wall Street players and society fixtures alike. Spotted at the meeting were the firm’s Charles Myers, as well as Saber Partners’ Chele Chiavacci and Barbara Winston. A spy said one attendee asked Bush if she’s planning on going into politics. She replied, “No . . . not yet.”
