Ferrari hosts party to celebrate new $1.4M hybrid supercar

Ferrari’s North America President and CEO Marco Mattiacci threw a party to celebrate the automaker’s new, $1.4 million hybrid supercar called LaFerrari. Ferrari has said it will deliver only 499 of LaFerrari, which boasts 949 horsepower and can go from zero to 186 mph in 15 seconds. Its top speed will be faster than 217 mph. Mattiacci hosted a private dinner at The Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill Wednesday night to unveil LaFerrari for its soon-to-be owners, who will take delivery in the spring. According to Ferrari, others who have ordered LaFerrari include Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte, Canadian businessman Lawrence Stroll film director Michael Mann and Microsoft’s Paul Allen.
