My son Maddox gets shot in head during ‘World War Z,’ says Brad Pitt

Adults were left terrified at the end of Brad Pitt’s zombie thriller “World War Z,” but Pitt’s children weren’t too rattled by the flick. “My two oldest boys they’ve already seen it and they love it,” the actor/producer told reporters at the Times Square premiere Monday night. Maddox, 11, Pitt’s oldest adopted son with partner Angelina Jolie, even has a cameo in the film. “He gets shot in the head,” Pitt said. “I don’t know what that says about me as a parent. He gets shot multiple times in the head to be fair. He gets double-tapped.” Maddox joined his dad, Edward Norton, Catherine Keener, Casey Affleck, Mel Brooks, and Jolie’s father, Jon Voight, and brother James Haven for an after-party at Meatpacking District hot spot Catch, where Maddox spent most of his time eating desserts and dancing on the restaurant’s roof with the other young stars. “Maddox was a big hit and posed for photos with all the girls,” said a spy at the bash sponsored by Esquire, DeLeon tequila and Samsung Galaxy. “He was the cutest thing.” [More on Pitt: Cindy Adams, Page 18.]
