Cuba Gooding Jr. is apartment-hunting in the city, according to sources. The actor — who’s starring in Broadway’s Tony-nominated “The Trip to Bountiful” — was seen touring the James NY in Soho last week, and has also looked at several other properties. Gooding’s wife, Sara Kapfer, and their three kids will be joining him in July, we’re told, so he’s looking for a large space for the whole family to live for a month. A few weeks ago, Gooding sold his Northridge, Calif., home for a reported $729,000. But a rep for Gooding said, “Cuba has been busy with eight shows a week and isn’t hotel- or house-hunting. He hasn’t made a decision about living arrangements. His family plans are unconfirmed.”
