Kanye West has accused Nike of “extortion” over his Air Yeezy shoes. In yet another epic intermission rant against the sneaker giant — this time at Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Friday — the rapper said of the high tops he designed, “How many of you are waiting for the red Yeezies? You know what they told my homey who owned the store up there? They said, ‘If you want the Yeezies, you’ve got to take 10 other shoes from Nike.’ That’s called extortion!” Spotted in the stands for the three-hour show were Kim Kardashian, Jonathan Cheban, Gabrielle Union, Loren Ridinger, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, DJ Vice, and Dolphins players including Brian Hartline.
